If you like the traditional American style restaurant, you may want to consider visiting Puerto Banus, the heart of Marbella and the Costa del Sol. Two of the most famous American chain’s have outlets here; Hard Rock Cafe and TGI Friday’s. They are both situated in the centre of Puerto Banus and parking is easy in the underground parking in the square.
There are a few Argentinian restaurants that offer great steaks, including Buenos Aires South (Marbella), Clerico (Marbella) and Tango (Puerto Banus).
Catering for the French palate is Montecarlo (Estepona), Nestor (Puerto Banus) and Valderram Restaurant (Sotogrande).
If a superb steak is your thing, then you need to try one of a number of the superb Grill Restaurants that are situated along the coast.
Situated along the Ronda Road, from San Pedro de Alcantara and just by the entrances to La Zagaleta and El Madronal is the excellent El Coto restaurant. A popular dish here is the “hot stone” where you sit and cook your own well prepared steak to suit your own taste’s, if you prefer your steak blue then their is no chance of you having to send it back!!
The Golden Mile is where the internationally renowned Marbella Club Hotel is situated. Here you will find the Marbella Club Grill. An excellent setting complemented by excellent food.
Just near the Marbella Club Hotel is it’s sister hotel, Puente Romana. Open every day for lunch, you can enjoy the culinary delights of the Puente Romano Beach Club.
If an Indian meal is your favourite then head to Puerto Banus and either end of the port you will find two fantastic restaurants. To the easy of the port you will find Khan’s which is open every day for lunch and dinner. To the west of the port you will find Mumtaz which also offers lunch and dinner.
Situated on the beach in Elveria, you will find the very popular Beach House restaurant. Offering both lunch and dinner seven days a week, this is a great venue to chill out on the beach and enjoy fine dining at the same time. The ceasar salad in a huge parmesan crisp is highly recommended.
Offering superb Italian fare is Da Bruno’s, which has restaurants in Marbella, The Golden Mile, San Pedro de Alcantara and Cabopino.
